This charming 2 bedroom holiday cottage, being just a two minute walk from the High Street of the quaint market town of Crickhowell, has been superbly and extensively renovated in 2013 and offers deceptively spacious accommodation. ‘2 mill street’ is tucked away in a small cul-de-sac and offers two double en-suite bedrooms; sleeping a total of four and is ideal for exploring the town or walking in the Brecon Beacons. Whilst being stylishly furnished yet retaining its character and quirky charm ‘2 mill street’ offers accommodation over three floor and has a new kitchen, lounge/dining area, two double bedrooms, each affording a new bathroom/en-suite, a utility room and gas central heating. With mountain views to the front and rear and a south facing lawned front garden, it’s an excellent base for walking and cycling in the Brecon Beacons National Park as well as exploring the town. The open plan living area with polished wooden floor includes a fully equipped fitted kitchen with breakfast bar including oven, hob, microwave and integrated fridge. The rest of this sunny, south-facing room has two leather sofas, a dining table and chairs for four, a large screen television (with freesat channels), DVD player, electric fire and ipod dock. This room overlooks the lawned front garden with access via the front door and stone steps. On the top floor is the main bedroom with king-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and en suite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. This bedroom has a south-facing aspect and views to the Llangattock Escarpment. There are also spectacular rear views to the Black Mountains from the landing window. The lower ground floor contains the second bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and en-suite shower room including sink and WC. On this floor there is a utility room with additional fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and storage cupboards. This floor also has direct access to the narrow lane with space in the downstairs hall suitable for storing bicycles. 2 mill street is an ideal holiday cottage to both relax in and discover the treasures of this beautiful part of Wales.
