Dating back to the 17th century, this period house was home to the last act of private and domestic warfare in England, possession of the house was fought over by Sir Thomas Metcalfe, known as the Black Knight of Nappa and Mrs Robinson. Thankfully the house now nestles in serenity amongst some of the prettiest scenery to be found in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, within a working farm environment and shooting estate.
