Wansfell Lodge resides on the spectacularly situated Limefitt Park, in one of the Lake District’s most beautiful valleys. The valley sides climb steeply to the surrounding peaks, such as High Street and Froswick providing breathtaking scenery. The Lodge is situated in a tranquil location with direct access on to the Lakeland Fells with an abundance of walks and wildlife and although it is only 3 miles from Windermere it retains the feeling of remoteness. On site facilities include  a small supremarket, the Haybarn Inn (open April - October), a traditional Lakeland pub serving meals, including breakfast, and a selection of fine ales and a beer garden.  There is also a games room, adventure playground and  launderette on site. Internet access is avaialble both in the lodge and throughout the site.
Nearby leisure activities include pony trekking, cycle hire, golf, fishing and a host of water sports. A truly wonderful location from which to enjoy a fabulous activity packed holiday.

Established in 1884 in the scenic Whicham Valley, Brockwood Lodges (refs 23394, 23395, 29367, 29368, 29369 and W41533) is situated in 26 acres of protected woodland grounds. Surrounded by the picturesque Duddon Estuary and Lake District Fells, Brockwood Lodges is nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are many activities on offer around the Lake District of Cumbria, you will find the resort an ideal place for a family vacation, romantic getaway or just a relaxing break. Brockwood Lodges offers a range of facilities and services without even having to step a foot out of the resort. The facilities on-site include a family bar, restaurant and bistro, as well as a heated indoor pool with a sun shower, outdoor children’s play area, lawns for games, plus barbecues and nature trails around the protected woodlands where badgers and deer may be spotted. The Fells Ref: CC111142
The Fells is an ideal cottage for a holiday in the Northern Lakes. As the owners’ much loved Lake District base, it is comfortable and well equipped, with personal touches making it a real home from home.  Elevated in a quiet corner above Keswick, there are extensive, unobstructed views towards the surrounding fells - yet the town centre, with all its amenities, is only a couple of minutes walk away. Walkers and pet owners will love the location, close to Fitz Park and the River Greta, with quick access on to the open hills. No wonder some guests have returned for over ten years! We are now offering leisure facilites at Keswick Pool and fitness suite which is only about seven minutes walk across the park from The Fells.
Guests to this cottage will receive free passes for Keswick Leisure Pool.

Ground Floor: The cottage is gas centrally heated, with constant hot water. It is double glazed and comprises:
Lounge: With comfortable sofa and easy chairs, flame effect electric fire in traditional surround digital TV, DVD, video and music centre, bookcase with local books and maps.
Kitchen/diner: Spacious with dining furniture, electric cooker, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and microwave.

First Floor: All bedrooms have views of the surrounding fells, Latrigg and Walla Crag from the front and Skiddaw from the rear.
